Our Primary School Program provides high-quality education to children from the most vulnerable families from Kibera slum who, due to various circumstances, are unable to attend public school. Recognizing the potential risks these children face, including the likelihood of resorting to street life, our program offers a safe and supportive learning environment where they can thrive. We aim to equip these children with essential academic skills and life experiences that will empower them to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures.
The curriculum is designed to foster a love of learning and includes a comprehensive range of subjects based on Competence Based Curriculum. Our qualified teachers focus not only on academic achievement but also on the emotional and social development of each child. Through interactive lessons, group activities, and individualized support, we strive to engage students and install confidence, resilience, and critical thinking skills. In addition to academics, we provide mentorship and counseling to address the specific challenges faced by our students, helping them develop the tools they need for a successful transition into adulthood.
By creating a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, our Primary School Program helps children regain hope, build a sense of community, and develop aspirations for their future. We believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential and contribute positively to society. This program serves as a vital stepping stone, preventing vulnerable children from falling into precarious situations and empowering them to pursue their dreams.
