The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department at St. Charles Lwanga Vocational Training plays a vital role in equipping students with the digital skills necessary for today’s rapidly evolving technological world. The department is committed to fostering innovation, creativity and practical skills in ICT through a hands-on skills and competency-based approach.  With supportive instructors, modern computer lab and a practical curriculum, you’ll gain the skills that employers want and the confidence to succeed in any digital environment.

The course duration is 3 months for certificate level and it is designed to be practical, hands-on and industry-relevant. You will learn:

  1. Computer Applications
    Master the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access) and other productivity tools used in every modern workplace.
  2. Computer Maintenance
    Understand how computers work, learn how to fix common problems and even assemble a computer from scratch.
  3. Cybersecurity & Internet Safety
    Understand the basics of online safety, protecting data and using the internet responsibly.
